Welcome to the website of the Thornbury - Bufumbo Parish to Parish Link

This website is dedicated to the Parish link between the Parish of Bufumbo, near Mbale, Uganda and the Parish of Thornbury, South Gloucestershire, UK. The link has been in existence since 1995 and celebrates the friendship between the two communities. This link is based on friendship and shared Christian fellowship and is realised through visits, letter writing, support for the Thornbury-Bufumbo Health Centre and local schools in Bufumbo, and other projects.
